Redefining The Meaning

In this performance I explore sustainable design processes and our everyday consuming practices with the help of conceptual self-irony: what is the meaning of each piece of clothing for its user, how do they define the user, how can these definitions be changed or be played with and what kind of new meanings can be produced? In the performance, new ways of observing the people wearing the clothes are produced. The project also wonders how it is possible that the everyday work with the clothes brings such pleasure even though the clothes used as a starting point are not fashionable.
